Four blood red moons are coming soon.

I'm feeling out of sorts this morning. Although I was determined to learn my new set-up on Windows 7, something else has knocked me into a black hole of despair. I can't access my email. Just yesterday, the provider changed the way it works. I can't log in, and even though I changed the password, how will I receive the change-over message? Hopeless. This might mean I need to get a new email address, which falls like a line of dominoes to affect every other social network account.

But, wait! It's not just me. The phenomenon will affect all the people on Earth.

Mars, Earth, and the Sun will all align tonight, a rare 'opposition of the planets'. This line-up only happens once every 778 days.

The remarkable event comes precisely a week before everyone gazing into the sky on a cloudless night will view the first of FOUR dark red 'blood moons'. Some Christians believe it marks the End of Days and the second coming of Christ.

The King James Bible predicts: "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD comes," [Joel 2:31].

And, according to NASA, a highly unusual 'Tetrad' - four successive total 'blood-red' lunar eclipses each followed by six full moons - will begin in one week and finish on September 28 next year.

The incredible alignment has only happened a handful of times in the last two thousand years. On each of the last three occasions it has coincided with a globally significant religious event.

Ah! I see it all now. I'm unusually sensitive to changes in the Earth and planets. No need to worry about the way I handle new technology. Maybe an email address will be unnecessary.

Sorry to hear about the email troubles. The blood red moon sounds interesting though. I think I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that. Hopefully we have a clear sky in Scotland.

Everyone should have a back-up email address (gmail, etc.) to use in this situation. That email should be on file with your provider so they know where to send the change password details.

I think that's good advice, in retrospect.
