Aging brings understanding. I look back on the last seventy years and dredge up memories of the way things were to compare them to present day events. After a long life filled with travel, trauma and tribute, I share my thoughts about daily news and its perceived impact on the planet and its people.

I left Australia in 1985 to work as a nanny in London. The picture above shows Aldenham school, close to where I live in Elstree, Hertfordshire in England. I worked there for a brief time in the 90s in the catering section.
